• You *almost* make me want to rewatch LOST, but I won’t because I don’t think I’m over the ending yet. I really didn’t like the Man in Black and Jacob episode either. It was unnecessary since it asked more questions than it answered AND obviously LOST didn’t care about answering questions anyway so it was kinda a pointless waste of time. My favorite part about season six was that it ended with the same shot as the show started: a close-up of Jack’s eye. I appreciated the symmetry.

I too appreciated the symmetry of the final shot. I also totally understand not being sold on rewatching the show. This was a strange experiment for me, because I still don’t really like the show that much. It did accomplish its goal though, which was to make me better able to articulate my problems with it.

Can I ask what about the ending you didn’t like?

  • Nice post but… I don’t think I will rewatch LOST again… that ending… I was pretty mad with the ending. I am with Melissa about the ending, the same shot of starting and ending was a masterpiece. However… hmmmm, I have mixed feelings with this show.

Thanks, and I totally get why you wouldn’t want to rewatch the show. It’s infuriating.

Can I ask what specifically you didn’t like about the ending? I’m curious because part of me really likes it, and part of me thinks it was bizarre.
